Travelcentre Bendigo commenced operations under my management on 16 January 1989.
We have grown to 4 staff and turnover of in excess of 3 million dollars.
We are part of the American Express chain of offices and thus offer worldwide customer care, excellent buying power and all the aspects of foreign currency and card control for American Express.
We offer the "Galileo" travel reservation system which hosts all major airlines of the world, over 75000 hotels and 59 car companies as well as offering instant sales on foreign currency, travel insurance and many Australian and Overseas packages.
We have been the top seller of Qantas products for several years and this is due to the skill of our four staff and the integrity of the Qantas label.
We now have full access to the Internet and email and offer these services to our customers for travel research and fine-tuning of their detailed holiday plans.
Currently on certain holiday packages, we can book and confirm your holiday, download into letterform and email you the results in a matter of minutes.
Our office hours are 9.00 am to 5.30 pm on weekdays and 9.00 am to Midday on Saturday Morning and an answering machine is available after hours for emergencies.
We also offer a service for the America Express card where we can organize card replacement, cash foreign currency as well as issue and answer any card questions you may have.
Full fax and photocopy service is available to our valued customers.
We are involved with local community groups with regard to sponsorship and all staff are encouraged to participate with local sporting groups.
